Doesn’t matter what line of work you’re in, the first day at a new job is always a little nerve-wracking. There are co-worker personalities and egos you need to learn. There’s learning a “new way of working” at a different establishment. And there’s always a mountain of paperwork you need to fill out regarding the terms and conditions of your employment.
The first day on the job is no different for porn stars who get paid to bang on camera. In this week’s edition of Ask A Porn Star, porn stars Cadence Lux, Trillium, Lily Ivy, Chad Alva, and August Ames talk about their first day on set. They were cool with the sex. But doing it while other people watched? That took some getting used to.
The best story is easily the one from Michael Vegas, who tells the story about a sex scene at a USC frat party. He got a chemical burn on his penis then an aggressive frat bro kept screaming at him while he was in the middle of a professional sex scene with a fellow female porn star. I won’t spoil the end.
I’m just disappointed no one offered this line:
“I filled out a 1099, signed a couple of consent/image release forms, gave it all to HR, then I got blasted in the face with a five-roper moneyshot from Peter North!”
What a career these sex workers have.
