Those are just some of things former adult film actress Bree Olson says in the above video, a film project by Matan Uziel called Real Women Real Stories that tries to raise awareness of the issues women face in everyday life.
Man, all this shit is something we shouldn’t really be doing. Imagine if we treated chefs this way. Chefs provide a service that everyone uses every day. Imagine if we hurled epithets at chefs just for cooking food. We don’t though, because even though everyone masturbates and everyone eats, we have a stupid bias about sex.
This isn’t the first time Bree Olson has spoken out before about this. She recently wrote an open letter on why women shouldn’t get into porn, but seeing her on video is that much more powerful. Crying about how she wished she could be treated. Which she could be, if we were just better.
That’s the only reason. Us and our silly preconceived notions about what is and isn’t proper.
So just remember, I know it’s impossible to not judge, but do your best, even a little. That bit can make all the difference in the world, be it to one person, or the world.
