You bros may remember back in August when then-Oakland Raiders tight end Colton Underwood sent in a video asking 22-year-old Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman on a date.
“Just want to congratulate you on all your success in the competitions and representing the U.S.A. over there. I know I’ve been following along. My roommates, my teammates, everybody here is super proud of you,” says Underwood. “You know, if you’re ever in San Jose and want to go on a double date with me and Andrew and Shawn, let me know.” [Speaking about gymnast Shawn Johnson, who is married to Raiders long snapper Andrew East].
Raisman, fresh off her Olympic performance being broadcast around the planet, likely had thousands of requests from men trying to throw their hats in the ring with one of America’s most decorated Olympians. But, Raisman took an interest to the 24-year-old Illinois State alum, who was since released by the Raiders and is now a free agent.
“They’ve told me about him before. He’s very cute,” said Raisman after watching the video. “I would go on a date with him.”
Fast forward almost four months and Raisman confirmed to People she and Underwood have been dating since the MTV Video Music Awards in late August.
